Okay, I'll admit it. This one was my own fault. It said on Aestheticism's site that this was a text doujinshi. Yet I managed to miss that fact. I can't say I'd normally go out and buy a text-based doujinshi, particularly one that features down-and-dirty Legolas-raped-by-Uruk-Hai. But it's half in English, at least, and it's supporting Aestheticism, which is a cool site. But still... Bleh.

It's a cute doujinshi, very nice art style, but way too short.

This doujinshi is full of Pervy Hobbit Fanciers... Everyone just seems to love those cute little hobbits! In one story, Legolas sits Frodo in his lap and feeds him supper (or was that second breakfast?), and then proceeds to lick away the food that Frodo has spilled down his chin, thus making Samwise drool and giving Gimli a nosebleed. Boromir and Legolas make lewd comments to Aragorn and Frodo in the mines of Moria, and other one-shots. The random sketches are the highlight of this doujinshi -- one involves Pippin 'joking around' with a sheep while Merry watches from the treetops above, Pippin placing the Horn of Gondor on Boromir's face and blowing it while he's trying to sleep (because everyone loves to blow the horn of Gondor), Legolas putting on Gandalf's pointy hat, and more.

This doujinshi contains a mix of lightly funny and serious tales. In one short strip, Frodo gets angry watching Gandalf's fireworks, while in another Saruman raises his mighty Uruk-Hai, only to discover that it is wearing a dress. Elrond and Gandalf discuss Arwen's love for Aragorn, and Elrond gets upset as he imagines his immortal daughter growing old. The last tale shows Aragorn and Legolas laughing and finding comfort in each other after Boromir's death. All together now: Awwwww!
The only reason I mention possible shounen-ai is because I have seen it advertised as such on eBay and other sites. However, I just don't see it...
