I'm a tremendous Wu Fei fan, and it annoys me to no end when he's cast as the extra fifth wheel or downplayed in favor of other couples. I'm also not a very large fan of Wu Fei as the uke -- somehow, I doubt he would allow himself to be subdued in a relationship. However, being the token 'short' Asian, he's put into the uke role in most doujinshi. At least the 3x5 coupling does it with style. In a lot of stories, although technically the uke, he's on fairly equal footing with Trowa. It's a refreshing relief from the disturbingly immense fanbase of 13x5, a pairing I just don't see as realistic.

While the contents of doujinshi might not be very widely known, I've seen the cover on a number of Wu Fei-centered websites. The first story, drawn in a somewhat annoying, childlike style, shows Wu Fei shouting at Trowa, who still has amnesia. According to Toshi-san's explanation on his site, Wu Fei tells Trowa that he is weak and deserves to die in battle. Then, while in space, the pilots intercept a transmission that the L3 colony is under attack, and Trowa spots Catherine among the crowd. Trowa leaves to fight in Wing Zero and returns badly injured after taking out 50 enemy mobile suits. Wu Fei deeply regrets having told Trowa he deserved to die, and he breaks down weeping when a bandaged Trowa recognizes him in the hospital bed, his memories returned.
The second story is drawn in a style that is much more detailed and much prettier. I believe it's a continuation of the first story, although I'm not completely positive. Wu Fei and Trowa unexpectedly run across each other in the corridors of the Peacemillion and Wu Fei angrily runs off without an explanation. Later, in a conversation with Duo, Trowa realizes that Wu Fei is ashamed that Trowa saw him crying. Trowa enters Wu Fei's room while he is sleeping and kisses him. Wu Fei, looking all sweet and uke with his hair down, wakes up and shouts at Trowa. The two argue for a while, but in the end Trowa pulls Wu Fei into his arms and the two make love.

This doujinshi is one of my favorites. After the war is over, Trowa takes Wu Fei with him back to the circus, reuniting with Catherine (who glomps onto an infuriated Wu Fei). While Trowa continues to perform with the circus troupe,Wu Fei is, to his dismay, sent to clean trailers (wearing an apron with a chibi picture of the circus master on the front). One evening during a performance, Wu Fei finds his trailer broken into by someone looking for information on the Gundam pilots. The burglar throws a pepper bomb at Wu Fei and escapes as Wu Fei is choking. The burglar runs into the big top and encounters Catherine, holding her hostage at gunpoint when Wu Fei manages to catch up. The burglar shoots Wu Fei in the leg, and Trowa hears the noise outside as he's feeding the lions. Although he's in obvious pain, his leg shaking violently, Wu Fei overcomes the burglar and kicks the crap out of him in the gracious way that only he can manage. In the end, Trowa and Wu Fei leave the circus together, in case there are more spies looking for information on the Gundams.
The style in this doujinshi is simplistic, but very well done. The author also portrays Catherine in a very nice light. I'm not always fond of Catherine, and I'm often less fond of how she's portrayed as a fluffy, soup-loving mother-hen in a good number of fan works, but I actually liked her in this doujinshi. It was also cute to see how Wu Fei ultimately bonded with her and fought to protect her.

This is a somewhat confusing doujinshi that appears to mix two stories, done by two different artists, on about every other page. During the cherry blossom festival, Trowa asks Wu Fei to dance for him. Wu Fei dances, while holding his sabre, and Trowa shows his appreciation by kissing him. There are also some scenes at the end that detail shounen-ai interpretation of scenes from the series, such as Trowa kissing Wu Fei's hand when he moves the chess piece in the game against Duo.

The Sweet&Sweet circle is one of the more well-known circles for 3x5 doujinshi, but I can't say I'm overly fond of it. The drawing style is strange, to say the least, with the characters having overly gangly limbs and odd-shaped faces. The first tale shows Trowa walking in on Wu Fei. The two have a conversation, and Wu Fei at first begins to laugh, and then starts to cry as he's laughing. Wu Fei then pulls a gun on Trowa, and Trowa levels his own gun at Wu Fei in return. In the next story, Trowa is lying in bed talking with Wu Fei. Trowa suddenly slumps into Wu Fei's arms, and Wu Fei feels Trowa's head to discover he's running a fever. Wu Fei looks smug until Trowa latches onto Wu Fei and pulls him down on top of him. At the end, Trowa is walking down the hall with a jug of water, bringing it to Wu Fei, who is in bed having contracted Trowa's fever (injustice!).
